Nitrous Oxide (Cream Chargers) & Cream Whipper Safety
As your order contains an age-restricted product, you have confirmed that you have read, understood, and agreed to our Terms & Conditions when placing your order through our online ordering platform.
We would therefore like to recap the important safety information and requirements which you have agreed to by placing your order with DirectWhip.
Our cream chargers contain Nitrous Oxide (N₂O) gas and are supplied strictly for catering and food preparation purposes. Before using any cream charger or cream whipper, you must carefully read and follow all manufacturer’s instructions.
When using a cream whipper, never exceed the manufacturer’s recommended number of chargers. Unless otherwise stated by the manufacturer, use no more than 1 charger in a ¼ litre or ½ litre whipper, and no more than 2 chargers in a 1 litre whipper.
· Only use chargers with a device approved for use with the cartridge.
· Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions.
· Chargers contain Nitrous Oxide under high pressure and can cause serious injury if handled incorrectly.
· Never attempt to pierce or open a charger without the correct equipment, as this may result in explosion, serious injury, or severe freeze burns.
· Keep chargers out of reach of children.
· Do not expose chargers to temperatures above 50°C.
· Store and operate chargers between 3°C and 50°C.
· Never dispose of full or unused chargers.
· Do not take chargers on board an aircraft.
· Chargers are non-aerosol, non-refillable and made from recyclable steel.
· For food and catering use only.
If you experience a freeze burn from Nitrous Oxide, seek medical attention immediately. N₂O burns can cause serious deep-tissue damage that may not be immediately visible.
Nitrous Oxide chargers are sold by DirectWhip strictly for catering and food preparation purposes. They must never be inhaled or used for their psychoactive effects.
Misuse of Nitrous Oxide can have serious and potentially fatal consequences, including loss of consciousness, asphyxiation, serious injury, or death.
You must not misuse the products for their psychoactive effects or supply them to anyone you believe may be under 18 or may misuse them.

DirectWhip operates a zero-tolerance policy towards the misuse of our products.
